    Tried to overturn the 2020 election he lost, and was impeached for inciting the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He was indicted on federal charges over his efforts to overturn the election, a case prosecutors dropped after he won in 2024. A jury also found him liable for sexual abuse (see Accusations).

    In 2021 he said that if the courts stopped Trump from purging the federal workforce, Trump should defy them and “stand before the country like Andrew Jackson did.” In the 2024 vice presidential debate, he wouldn't say whether Trump lost the 2020 election.

    Led Trump's legal push to overturn the 2020 election. He falsely accused Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss of fraud, and in December 2023 a jury ordered him to pay them $148 million for defamation. New York and Washington, D.C. both disbarred him in 2024.

    On January 5, 2021, he told his podcast audience that “all hell is going to break loose tomorrow.” He refused to cooperate with the House January 6 committee, was convicted of contempt of Congress, and served four months in federal prison in 2024. In April 2026 the Supreme Court threw out the appeals-court ruling that had upheld his conviction.

    Promised to “release the Kraken” and filed lawsuits claiming voting machines flipped votes from Trump to Biden. The courts threw them out. Charged in the Georgia election case, she pleaded guilty in October 2023 to six counts of conspiring to interfere with election duties.

    Messages released in Dominion's lawsuit against Fox show that he privately doubted the stolen-election claims while his network kept airing them. In 2023 he aired hand-picked January 6 security footage and described the rioters as “sightseers.”

    Took the stage at a 2018 Trump campaign rally. His network paid Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to settle a defamation suit over the 2020 election lies it aired.

    Helped arrange funding for the January 6 rally and led a crowd toward the Capitol that day. Juries have ordered him to pay the families of Sandy Hook victims more than $1 billion for claiming the 2012 school shooting was a hoax.

    Spent years and millions of dollars promoting false claims that voting machines stole the 2020 election. In June 2025 a Colorado jury found him liable for defaming Eric Coomer, a former Dominion Voting Systems employee.

    A regular member of the “Home Team” panel on Patrick Bet-David's PBD Podcast, one of the biggest pro-Trump shows online. Bet-David is an outspoken Trump supporter who called the 2020 election “Rigged Lite,” and the show gave Trump a friendly sit-down interview on October 16, 2024, three weeks before the election. Even when Oshana broke with Trump over the Epstein files on the show in July 2025, calling it “horseshit,” he stressed how loyal he had been through every other controversy.
